Biography

Liu Wenyue, MD, graduated from Peking Union Medical College with a major in Plastic Surgery and was awarded the title of “Outstanding Graduate of Beijing Higher Education Institutions”. She was mentored by renowned breast plastic surgery experts Professor Luan Jie and Professor Mu Lan, and her research focuses on breast plastic and reconstructive surgery. In 2016, funded by the China Scholarship Council, she went to the Department of Plastic Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, USA, for one year of joint training and advanced study. After graduation, she remained at the hospital and successively studied and worked at the Facial and Neck Plastic and Aesthetic Center, Gynecologic and Superficial Tumor Plastic Surgery Center, Body Contouring and Liposuction Center, Minimally Invasive Plastic Surgery Center, and Extremity Plastic and Reconstructive Center. As first author, she has published multiple papers in domestic and international academic journals and has presented at domestic and international academic conferences on multiple occasions. She has undertaken multiple research projects, co-authored 1 book, and co-translated 2 books. In clinical practice, she adheres to the principles of naturalness, moderation, and precision, emphasizes individualized aesthetics and the updating of concepts, and provides patients with scientific, reasonable, safe, and effective medical decisions.
